Carbon labeling on consumer items. Right beside the price sticker is
another sticker that gives the consumer a number on that product's
projected impact on the atmosphere, both the manufacture and use.

The units would be in "microGores."

One "Gore" would be defined as Al Gore's projected lifetime
contribution of CO2.

Come to think of it, the "nanoGore" would probably be the most popular
unit.

Al Gore has already reduced his personal carbon footprint to almost zero
through energy saving modifications and paying green power premiums.  Don't
be fooled by liars.

Show us the numbers. How much energy does each of his three houses
use? How close is it to zero? What green premiums, to whom, and how
does that change anything in terms of his actual energy usage? How
does he offset his air travel energy usage? And his SUV and limo
energy usage? Huh?

Anyone who actually beleives that Al Gores carbon footprint is almost
zero is a real zero in intellectual terms. But I'll give you hundred
in cult membership and blind follower points.

How pathetic can you get?

Oh well, then I'm convinced. You've won me over with your in-depth and
detailed explanation that explains your argument. Oh hang on there,
you didn't do that, nevermind.

I'd prefer another label on how much of the products price will go
into Al Gorski's property.

In other parts of the world we use price/demand, as stated in a pretty
well known economic theory called "capitalism" - if prices go up,
demand goes down.

The ansewer is carbon tax. No need to forbid anything or plea that
consumers will want to "spend" as litle co2 as possible

Before that can be done politically you'll _first_ need to _inform_
the public on _who_ and _what_ is causing the CO2.

Al Gore's high CO2 lifestyle needs to be held up as a model one what
_not_ to do.

Since Gore is so fat, stupid and useless most people will immediately
try to do the opposite.

Who knows? That might have been Gore's strategy all along!

Ah Yes a carbon tax is the answer !
The more carbon I can use in making an article , the more you will have
to pay me for it. Plus my mark-up on expense of course!

He just forgot that paying this carbon tax is academic, if you don't

have the money.... great way to bring in a "world wide" depression.
